Begin Your Journey
at Mountain View Christian School
Choosing a school is an important decision
We’re honored you’re considering Mountain View Christian School.
Our admissions process is designed to be personal, prayerful, and clear, giving your family the opportunity to explore whether MVCS is the right fit academically, spiritually, and relationally.
Whether you’re just starting to ask questions or ready to apply, we’re here to walk with you every step of the way.
What Does the Admissions Process Look Like?
Our admissions process typically takes about two weeks from start to finish and is designed to be thorough without being overwhelming.
Connect With Us
We encourage families to begin by:
- Submitting an online inquiry
- Scheduling a campus tour and conversation (optional but highly encouraged)
This is a great opportunity to see our classrooms in action, ask questions, and get to know our mission and community.
Complete the Application
Once you’re ready, complete our online application—it usually takes 10 minutes or less.
At this stage, we also ask that you submit student records (report cards, transcripts, or other relevant documents).
Student records are required before testing and interviews can be scheduled.
Testing & Family Interview
After we receive the application and student records, we will schedule:
- Student testing (up to 1 hour), and
- A family interview, held immediately after testing
We strive to schedule testing and interviews on the same day whenever possible to respect your time.
Enrollment Decision
If all goes well following testing and interviews, your family will be extended an offer of enrollment.
At that point, you will complete the Enrollment Packet, which includes:
- Required student forms
- Selecting your tuition payment plan
- Applying for financial aid, if needed
This is the most detailed part of the process, but most families complete it in about 30 minutes when information is readily available.
Please note: Students may not begin classes until the enrollment packet is fully completed.
Ready to Take the Next Step?
We would love to partner with your family and help you discern the best next step for your child’s education.
If you have questions at any point, our admissions team is here to help—because admissions at MVCS is not just a process, it’s the beginning of a partnership.
